Tegan was born in 2003; her mother was our Ch Phidgity Pereskia JW (Beatrice), father Salsusa Astar Play (son of Ch Theakston Tamerlan).

 

Her show career started very slowly as we were concentrating on Rupert;

however she did achieve the following:

 

BPB - Richmond Ch Show 2003

BOB + G2 - Newton Aycliffe 2004 (beating her Uncle Rupert)

 

At St Patricks Show 2004 in Dublin under FCI rules she was awarded

Excellent by Judge Albert Wight.

 

In Jarrow & Hebburn 2004 although nominally entered just to keep her cousin Otto company,

not only took Best of Breed but went on to become Best In Show.l

 

During the 2004 Munster Circuit Shows Tegan qualified 3 times to challenge for Best Bitch. 

Although rarely shown, Tegan had consistently been highly placed during 2004.

 

2005 started well with winning Green Star Bitch, CACIB and also Best of Breed at the Combined Canine Society Ch Show;

this was against half a dozen UK champions including her Uncle Rupert. 

We then took her to Scottish Kennel Club where she won Limit Bitch and gained her UK Stud Book Number.

 

Between 2006 to 2008 we did not show her much and she actually had a super litter in October 2005

(sired by Ch Timmie Willie With Lilal). 

One of these puppies has gone on to become Aust Ch Phidgity Potent Potion.

 

We started to show Tegan again in 2008 starting with:

Green Sstar Bitch - Bray & District

Green Star Bitch - Irish Ladies Kennel Association
